Turkey Day
It's Turkey Day... I really don't eat turkey haha...except the deli sliced. Thanksgiving isn't about the what we eat, but who we eat with. I am so thankful for my mom and dad. I couldn't ask for better parents. I am thankful for my wonderful, divine Grandmother. I am thankful that my sister Emily and her hub Jason are here. We had a wonderful shopping day. (Jamison got a lot of exercise) I am thankful for Ellen, Brandon and Makayla who aren't here but will be for a week during Christmas. (SO EXCITED). I am thankful for Matthew. In the words of Carrie Underwood, "He is good, so good...He treats your little girl like a real man should!" I am thankful for his family too. They are very kind people. I'm thankful for my little cousin (who looks older than me..) Rachel. She is like a best friend. I am thankful for my Aunt Ann, Aunt Martha, and Aunt Beth! We know how to have fun! I'm thankful for all my family. I'm thankful for my puppy Maverick, and his Sister Samantha Jean, and her real sister Tilla. Even little terd 1 (Chance) and terd 2 (Shawdow) haha Jussssttt kidding....... :) I'm thankful I have a job, certification, food, shelter, transportation, legs, fingers to type this with, hair to comb, clothes to wear, water to drink. I'm thankful for land to run and play on. I'm thankful for God's unconditional love. I have so much to be thankful for each and every day.

Children Learn What They Live
Written by Dorothy Law Nolte
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.

This is one of my favorite poems. It really speaks the truth about a lot of todays children and how they are being "raised." Even though one might drive you completely BONKERS, you just gotta love em anyways...
It baffles, befuddles, astonishes, perplexes, astounds, bewilders me why people are the way they are. Nature vs. Nurture...what do you think. It doesn't matter im not a very opinionated person, so I'll pass on yours unless I ask for one! I say 99% Nurture and 1% Nature. At some point in life maybe someone or something else has influenced you in some way that you have decided to better your life and choose differently. BUT... Most of these children will end up like their parents/guardians. I just cannot grasp WHY these people treat their kids the way they do or simply not care. The future is in their house and they do not give a flying flip. Somewhere there is someone who would love that child, care about that childs education, health, HYGIENE, LIFE! If only that child could get the chance.
I guess I will just do what I can and hope for the best.
I am thankful I have a loving family.

bed time
There isn't enough time to say "I don't have time..."
When you talk about not having enough time... in reality, you're wasting time saying or thinking it. I wonder how many times a day I say or hear that. My mind just feels so cluttered today. I feel like I have a million and one things either going on, getting ready to happen, or things I want to happen. It's wearing me out! Thank goodness Fall Break is coming up. Who is relaxing? Not me. I have to study the couple days I will have before my test. Then I will be taking the test which is an all day affair. Then the Ameliaman I signed up to do and switched to a relay because I "wouldn't have enough time" to train well enough for the run portion. Then maybe I can relax the next two days. But I need to hold a garage sale outside of my room. If I lived in town or by houses where cars actually came by...I would consider it..at least by the road. LOL
Well enough chit chat because I am hittin' the hay. Since there are only 24 hours in a day, I need 1/3 of it asleep thanks! Mom, don't think its six and hollar at me when its only 5:20!-- Love you and Thanks!--

Time to...
STUDY!!! YES. I'M Super Excited!
Always studying for something...I wish tomorrow was another weekend day
but it is Monday. Monday means work. I'm waiting on the approval fo the board, but I will be hired for the para pro position I have been subbing for. YAY! This weekend was nice.
Friday, Hannah and I watched "Why did I get married too" a Tyler Perry movie. It was alright, but not fantastic like most of his other ones. Sturday, I slept in :) Matthew came over and stayed until after supper. We rode the golf cart, played the wii, helped Daddy with stuff. Then I had to study. Went to his house today after Church, we watched The Pacifier and Good Burger! We had to leave before Goodburger was over.
"Welcome to Goodburger, home of the goodburger, can I take ya order!"
Hahaha! funny funny. My two new favorite songs are "If it's Love" by Train and "Two is better than one" by boys like girls feqaturing Taylor Swift...Ive listened to them over and over and over. I wish I didn't do that..but I do! Mama and I rode bikes this morning and it was COLD! not cool....COLD! I rode 20 miles, she rode 24 I think. I'm ready for Fall Break. and getting this test OVER AND DONE! Emily and I decided we are going Black Friday shopping this year! WOOT! We always want to, but no one else does! This year since we will know what she is having by then we are going! Of course I will have to get Makyala all her Christmas presents and maytbe she will be able to tear into this year! Yesterday she turned 4 months! Baby MMC is growing up! :) well i guess i will go study now. PEACE! Have a great Monday!

Tired Tuesday
Today I had to sub in 4th grade...All they did was change classes and each class took the same test. Sure...it was easy...but it was boring! I would have rather heard...
"I'm sittin by LaDy MoNrOe!"
"My Grandma going to come up here and take that tab out."
Kindergarteners are much more entertaining.

Haha!

Mundee here in the South
I love the south, but I do say muhn-dey. Just another Monday...Waresboro, the YMCA, Home. I did visit the new CVS in town though and got the infiniti CONAIR curling/straightening iron. Recommended by EMC, better known as Ellen! It has been rainy, wet, cloudy, stormy, muddy (dirt road life) all day. We definitely needed the rain though. It's too early for fall colors down here...things are dying from the heat!
Instead of beginning to look like this...

It looks more like this...

We skip from green to brown...
Images from google.
Throughout my day I thought of these things besides germs and children not doing what they are supposed to do.....
Makayla

Friends I haven't seen since this day

Fishing/Being on the boat...me trying to reel in a big ole ray!

And I see Makayla everytime I look at my phone...which can be often! Okay...it's very often
And I always wish I could hold her everytime I look!

Weekend over
The weekend is over...back to work tomorrow!
This weekend I...studied, played with the dogs, went to Wally World...actually they should call it Crazy World because it's always full of people. The local firemen were out and about collecting donations from anyone willing to give to MDA.
MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
A Waycross Firefighter was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's and Firemen from the city stations and the county station were collecting money for MDA in honor of him. I visited Ware County Fire Rescue who were stationed at Krogar. Matthew is a Ware County Fireman, so of course that's why I went there!
Daddy went to the Jazz Festival, I opted out. We went to FUMC this morning, and had Zaxby's for lunch (CRUSHED ICE!)
Then I went to Bickley. Now I'm home again studying again! YAY!

Sunny Saturday
My first blog post! After reading my sister Ellen's blog all the time, I've finally decided to make my own.
I'm sad Saturday is almost over. It means its closer to Monday. Monday=work. Guess that's what happens when you graduate college. I have been a long term sub as a parapro and this week should reveal news about staying or leaving.
I think I'll just watch football right now. UGA is doing good...until they get to the endzone. MSU is playing tough! My cousin Rachel was accepted to MSU. She might be attending in Fall 2011. GO GA DAWGS! I've got to pull for them. It might as well be a law around here!
